Whew, what a summer! The real estate market in York County sure was hot! Sales slowed down slightly in September (as they do every September in Maine), but sellers were able to enjoy a 7% improvement on sales price and sold their homes quicker compared to a year ago. The quarterly statistics show a more complete picture of the real estate market in York County with more sales data to compare. The quarterly statistics show similar results with improvements in total number of sales, sales price, and days on the market.

With low interest rates and low competition, now is a great time for buyers and sellers to come together!

The number of sales for single family homes were down in Cumberland County, but sellers were able to enjoy an 11% improvement on final sales price and sold their homes quicker compared to a year ago. The rolling quarter statistics show a more complete picture of the real estate market in Cumberland County with more sales data to compare.
